Welcome to Evergreen – Red Deer’s Newest Community

Posted by on Dec 11, 2017 in Blog, Communities, Evergreen | Comments Off on Welcome to Evergreen – Red Deer’s Newest Community

Taking its cue from the simplicity of nature, Evergreen is Red Deer’s destination for relaxed living. Embracing the natural beauty of water features, native green spaces and mature woodlands, this sustainable community is designed for exploration and outdoor recreation. With modern architecture reflecting the natural surroundings and contemporary amenities nearby, you’ll enjoy the best of both worlds.

Neighbours with Nature

Tree-lined streets welcome you to the neighbourhood and surround the community creating natural walls between you and life in Red Deer. Within Evergreen nature surrounds you – but just outside you have access to urban conveniences like dining, fitness, groceries and gas stations. Replace traffic with trails and long line-ups with wildlife in Red Deer’s most relaxing community.

Homes with Style

Evergreen’s natural surroundings blend seamlessly with the traditional house styles and calm colours of the neighbourhood. A mix of materials, colours, housing styles and architecture create a mosaic of character-rich homes with a focus on high quality design. Providing a variety of housing options is important to us, and we are happy to be one of the first communities to offer wide-shallow and park front/reverse housing lots — two new types of single family homes for the Red Deer community.

One Key Factor To Remember When Purchasing a Home…

Posted by on Aug 28, 2017 in Blog | Comments Off on One Key Factor To Remember When Purchasing a Home…

–> Maintenance! When buying a home it is important not to forget about the time and labor that home ownership requires. Just like regular oil changes for your car to keep your engine happy and healthy, keeping up with regular home maintenance tasks will keep you from future headaches and wasted money.

–> It can be intimidating to think about these various tasks, especially if you’re a new homeowner. It’s a long list — there’s no denying that. The good news is that you can do the majority of it on your own without much experience.

–> Do a visual walk through around your house to look for any abnormalities. Look for any areas that could be leaking, change the filters on your furnace, when the seasons are changing make sure hoses are turned off and that downspouts are in their proper places, check your overhead door occasionally for strange sounds..

Let’s Discuss Cost per Square Foot for New Construction…

Posted by on Jun 27, 2017 in 2 Storey, Bi-Level, Blog | Comments Off on Let’s Discuss Cost per Square Foot for New Construction…

** In your early planning, you will want to know what your new house is going to cost. We have a lot of people contact us in regards to cost per square foot when building a new home.

** This is important information to know since the cost of your project will certainly affect your decisions while creating the design and be a huge factor in determining what is going to work best for you and your family.

–> One of the main factors is always Design. It is effected by a multitude of things. Some examples include, how many windows you choose, the finishing details you select and open area to below.

–> Another area that affects this is the home style you choose. A two storey vs. a bungalow will vary. A bungalow will cost more for foundation and has a larger span of square footage.

** Visit our Show Home at 9 Larratt Close, Red Deer to chat in person with Scott about this or any questions you may have.
